NEMCC award-winning Adult Education to offer HiSET Testing in Ripley
BOONEVILLE, Miss. (10/21/2024) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's award-winning Adult Education Department is offering a chance for individuals to advance their educational careers in a different location this fall.
Northeast's Adult Education Department will host two sessions of the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) at the Northeast at Ripley campus on Thursday, October 24, and Thursday, October 31, both at 4:30 p.m.
An alternative to the GED test, the HiSET exam enables candidates to earn the same state-issued high school equivalency credential. The HiSET or GED is an essential steppingstone for those seeking to enhance their career prospects or enter post-secondary education.
With the HiSET, students can unlock pathways to employment and college, including the opportunity to enroll at Northeast Mississippi Community College in the spring semester.
Participants are encouraged to reserve their spots early, as availability may be limited.
Individuals interested in taking the HiSET exam at the Northeast at Ripley campus can register by contacting Kristin Reese at 662-728-4078.
