NEMCC Burgess Fitness Center announces Fall 2024 class schedule
Fifteen (15) classes are scheduled for the fall semester
BOONEVILLE, Miss. (08/05/2024) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Burgess Fitness Center has announced its class schedule for the 2024 Fall semester.
Offering a wide range of fitness classes to accommodate the diverse needs of the community, the center provides many classes after 4 p.m., making them ideal for working professionals.
Fall classes at the Burgess Fitness Center will run from Monday, August 19 through Thursday, December 12.
Northeast's Burgess Fitness Center will offer 15 different classes over the Monday through Thursday span for those looking to get a brief workout in, a class or commit to a lifelong fitness routine.
In addition, Burgess Fitness Center continues to be an economical choice for those looking to continue or start their fitness regime, offering flexible membership contracts in 3-, 6-, and 12-month increments at only $20 per month.

Fitness Center hours are Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. for students and Monday through Fridays from 4 a.m. until 9 p.m. for community members and college personnel along with Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. for community and college employee members.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
ABS: A 25-minute class focusing on the core, including abs, obliques, hip flexors, lower back, and glutes.
DANCE CARDIO: A 40-minute high-energy dance class that offers a fun way to burn calories while learning new dance moves.
PERSONAL TRAINER OPEN HOURS: Schedule a 30-minute private or group training session to achieve your workout goals. Sign up is required and can be done by scanning the QR code on the class schedule poster, social media graphic or at the facility.
PILATES: A full-body workout aimed at improving flexibility, stability, and muscle strength, focusing on core muscles like the abdominals, lower back, glutes, and hips.
RESTORATIVE YOGA: A meditative form of yoga perfect for beginners, focusing on breath and tension release through various postures and poses.
SPIN: A 45-minute stationary bike class set to upbeat music, providing a great cardio workout.
TOTAL BODY RESET: A weights class incorporating high-intensity interval training to build strength, endurance, and confidence.
YOGA: An energetic and rejuvenating flow-style yoga class suitable for all levels, where each posture is held for several breaths before transitioning into the next.
