NEMCC helps Dental Assistants improve credentials
BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (07/21/2022) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Office of Continuing Education is helping local dental assistants when it comes to improving their credentials.
Northeast is offering a Radiology Workshop for Dental Assistants on Saturday, July 23 on the fourth floor of Childers Hall in Booneville.
Northeast's Radiology Workshop for Dental Assistants is a certificate program for dental assistants and helps to not only train but to certify individuals to take radiographs in a dental office. The Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners regulates this program.
Cost for the workshop is $155 and runs from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and includes not only lecture but skills lab time.
Workshops are limited to just 10 (ten) participants per workshop and enrollment will be accepted on a first-come, first-pay basis.
For those who cannot make the Saturday, July 23 workshop, Northeast will offer a workshop each month through June 2023.
Northeast's next workshop will be Saturday, August 13 and the fall semester will see workshops on Saturday, September 17; Saturday, October 8; Saturday, November 12 and Saturday, December 10.
Six Saturday workshops will dot the Spring 2023 schedule starting on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Northeast follows the January date with workshops on Saturday, February 18, 2023; Saturday, March 25, 2023; Saturday, April 15, 2023; Saturday, May 20, 2023, and Saturday, June 17, 2023.
No refunds will be issued unless a participant cancels three working days prior to the workshop.
Participants must complete both the registration form and the radiology workshop application form online.
