NEMCC's Campus Country announces setlist for second Showtime of the year

Show scheduled for Thursday, November 13, at 7 p.m. in Hines Hall Auditorium

BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (11/06/2025) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Campus Country is ready to bring the semester to a close with its second Showtime performance of the 2025-2026 academic year on Thursday, November 13, in the Hines Hall Auditorium.

Curtain rises at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m.

Known for its blend of classic and contemporary hits across multiple genres, Campus Country's November Showtime features a 16-song setlist that promises something for every music lover.

Showtime includes timeless anthems like "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns N' Roses, classics such as "Say You Love Me" by Fleetwood Mac, and country favorites including "Why Haven't I Heard from You" by Reba McEntire and "Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Chicks.

Adding a fresh twist, the group will also highlight several modern country hits, including "6 Months Later" by Megan Moroney, "Only Girl" by Mackenzie Carpenter, and "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes.

One of the night's biggest moments will be Carrie Underwood's rendition of "Mama, I'm Coming Home," a tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne of Black Sabbath.

Campus Country's diverse lineup continues with crowd pleasers such as Jason Aldean's "She's Country," The Judds' "Cry Myself to Sleep," and "If It Hadn't Been for Love" by The SteelDrivers.

Fans of gospel and bluegrass will also be treated to "Are You Washed in the Blood" by Joey + Rory -- known affectionately as "Shirley's Song."

Each Campus Country Showtime includes Shirley's Song in honor of the group's founding director, Shirley Taylor.

Shirley's Song helps the group stay connected to its roots in country, gospel, and bluegrass music while serving as a fund-raiser in Taylor's memory. Those wishing to donate to the Shirley Taylor Memorial Fund for Campus Country can do so online at https://bit.ly/shirleytaylor.

This November's performance will also carry a festive note, as the evening doubles as the fortieth (40th) birthday celebration for longtime Campus Country director Chris Dunn.

Admission to the November 13 Showtime is free for current Northeast students and employees and $10 at the door for the public.

For those unable to attend in person, the show will be recorded and shared following the performance.

Campus Country has long been one of Northeast's most visible ambassadors, performing throughout north Mississippi at events such as Tuesdays at the Triangle, the Booneville Fall Festival, and Northeast NOW, while also touring local high schools to showcase student talent and promote the college.
