NEMCC to offer ACT Prep Workshop
Workshop happens one week prior to the July ACT date
BOONEVILLE, Miss. - (07/01/2022) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Office of Continuing Education is helping reduce brain drain in area students during the summer months and prepare them for the American College Test (ACT) all in one workshop.
Northeast will offer an ACT Prep Workshop on Saturday, July 9, at both the college's Booneville and New Albany campuses.
Northeast's ACT workshop, designed to help high school students better understand the intricacies of the national college exam, focuses on skills analysis, test-taking tips and exam strategies.
For students signed up for the July ACT on Saturday, July 16, the Northeast ACT Prep Workshop provides an avenue for students to get in one more study day before the exam.
Participants are encouraged to bring their calculators that they will be using on the ACT to the workshop.
Cost is $45 and participants can sign up online.
In addition to the Saturday, July 16 date, the national ACT will be held on Saturday, September 10; Saturday, October 22; Saturday, December 10; Saturday, February 11, 2023; Saturday, April 15, 2023; Saturday, June 10, 2023, and Saturday, July 15, 2023, during the 2022-2023 academic year.
