NEMCC adjusts ACT Prep Workshop dates to better fit summer schedules
BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (06/06/2025) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Office of Continuing Education has announced revised dates for its upcoming ACT Prep Workshops to better accommodate students and families during the busy summer travel season.
With many families planning vacations during June and July, college officials have shifted the workshops from Saturdays to Thursdays, giving students the same high-quality instruction while allowing them to enjoy their weekends.
June's ACT Prep Workshop will now be held on Thursday, June 12, while the July workshop will happen on Thursday, July 10.
Registration deadline for the June workshop is Monday, June 9, and for the July session, Monday, July 7.
Northeast's one-day workshops run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and will take place in Holliday Hall on the Booneville campus. Cost to attend is $45 per student.
Northeast's ACT Prep workshops not only prepare students for the national ACT exam but also provide participants with valuable insight into skills analysis, test-taking strategies, and exam preparation tips designed to help students achieve their best possible scores.
