New Site's Anna Slack elected 2025 Homecoming Queen
BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (10/13/2025) — Northeast Mississippi Community College students have selected their 2025 Homecoming Court, with New Site's Anna Slack being elected as this year's Homecoming Queen following campus-wide elections in September.
Slack and the entire Homecoming Court will be introduced during a pep rally in their honor on Thursday, October 16 at 12:10 p.m. on the lawn in front of the Ramsey Student Services Building and the fountain. The official presentation of the Homecoming Court will follow at halftime of the Northeast-Coahoma Community College football game.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Tiger Stadium.
Theme for the game is a Gold Out.
Homecoming 2025 will be filled with activities for students, alumni, and the community, including Preview Night 2025, where prospective freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors can tour the campus, meet with faculty and staff, enjoy a community-wide cookout, and attend the football game.
In addition, Northeast will induct its Sports Hall of Fame Class and Alumni Hall of Fame Class during a reception and dinner beginning at 4 p.m. in the Claude Wright Room of the Haney Union.
