NEMCC Athletic Training Program seeks Student Athletic Trainers for 2025-2026 academic year
Scholarships are available for those who qualify
BOONEVILLE, Miss. (01/28/2025) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Athletic Training Office is accepting applications for its Student Athletic Trainers Program for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Northeast's Student Athletic Trainer program provides students with experience in the field of sports medicine, physical and occupational therapy, and other medical professions.
Northeast has designed the program to give participants a foundation for pursuing careers in these areas and has helped many students advance to positions at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level.
Student athletic trainers assist Northeast athletic trainers, coaches, and athletes with tasks related to injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.
While many student athletic trainers have a area of concentration in medical fields, the Northeast Student Athletic Training program is open to anyone and is also a way for former athletes to remain involved in athletics after their playing careers.
Each position includes a scholarship valued at up to $1,825, covering tuition at Northeast.
Deadline to apply is February 3, 2025.
