NEMCC Continuing Education announces Fall 2026 CNA classes
Classes will be held in Corinth and Ripley
BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (07/27/2026) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Office of Continuing Education is offering Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) training classes in Corinth and Ripley during the Fall 2026 semester, providing working adults with an opportunity to begin a career in healthcare through convenient evening classes.
Designed for individuals seeking a career change or entry into the healthcare field, the CNA Training Program combines classroom instruction with clinical experience to prepare students for employment in a variety of healthcare settings.
Students in Ripley will attend classes at the Tippah County Career & Technology Center, located at 2560 County Road 501, beginning Monday, August 17.
Classes will meet each Monday and Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. through October 13.
Students in Corinth will attend classes at the Alcorn County Career and Technology Center off Norman Road beginning Monday, October 26.
Classes will meet each Monday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. through December 15.
Program costs are $400 and include tuition and books. Payment may be made by check, money order, debit card or credit card.
An additional $55 fee for fingerprinting and a background check must be paid by debit or credit card.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum ACT score of 15 or a Silver-level WorkKeys certification.
To secure a place in the program, participants must submit a completed application packet along with full payment of tuition and fingerprinting/background check fees.
Enrollment is limited and will be filled on a first pay, first-enrolled basis.
