NEMCC Development Foundation celebrates record-setting year

BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (08/12/2025) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Development Foundation recently concluded a record-breaking year in 2024-25 presenting the College $2,522,000 in direct support.

While $928,000 of the total went to fund scholarships, the Foundation directed $599,000 to Capital Improvement projects, $540,000 to Fine Arts/Athletics endeavors and $455,000 to institutional support.

Vice President of Institutional Advancement Patrick Eaton said the extreme generosity of supporters of the Foundation is a testament to people who make Northeast a great place.

"It is a true blessing to be a part of an institution where the mission is taken to heart by so many people," Eaton said. "We are humbled by the support of our many donors. The record-breaking year is a direct reflection of their belief in our mission, the administration, faculty, and staff who carry that mission out every day, and the unlimited potential of our student body. We are truly grateful for their support."

Northeast's Foundation offers a comprehensive program of giving opportunities and is specifically responsible for gifts to the college involving estate planning, real estate, insurance, endowments, annuities, trusts, pooled income funds or other special donations that require ongoing management or binding agreements. It exists to serve Northeast by providing programs and benefits not fully provided by other sources.
