BOONEVILLE, Miss. (07/08/2024) — Northeast Mississippi Community College celebrated the nineteenth (19th) graduating class of the college's Reserve Officer Law Enforcement Training Academy on Monday, July 1 in Holliday Hall on the college's Booneville campus.

Northeast Mississippi Community College Reserve Officer Law Enforcement Training Academy is known for its demanding and progressive curriculum. It offers aspiring law enforcement officers a comprehensive, community-based education designed to equip them with the skills necessary for modern policing.

Graduates of the nineteenth class have to be sponsored by various local law enforcement agencies, underscoring the academy's integral role in preparing officers for diverse roles within the community.

Graduates included:

  • Robert Carruthers, sponsored by the Tupelo School District
  • Jennifer Kennedy, sponsored by the Booneville Police Department
  • Paul Phillips, sponsored by the Prentiss County Sheriff's Department
  • Kayli Willis, sponsored by the Tishomingo County Sheriff's Department
  • Tanner Wilmeth, sponsored by the Farmington Police Department
