NEMCC Honors Institute launches T-shirt fundraiser to support student success

by Michael H. Miller

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (11/14/2024) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Honors Institute has kicked off a T-shirt fundraiser to support student success for the upcoming academic year.

Proceeds will assist Honors Institute members with travel expenses to academic conferences across the southeastern United States, allow the organization to host special guest speakers and events on campus, and provide students with the opportunity to showcase their research in academic settings.

Northeast's Honors Institute is offering three unique, custom-designed Comfort Color T-shirts to appeal to a variety of Northeast fans and supporters:

  • Khaki Honors Institute Logo Shirt - This short-sleeve T-shirt features the Honors Institute logo on the back, with the Northeast shield proudly displayed on the front pocket. Available in sizes S-XXXL, the Khaki Honors Institute Logo shirt is priced at $25.
  • Tiger Pennant Shirt - Perfect for Northeast Tigers fans, this T-shirt is available in both short and long sleeves. Featuring a bold pennant design on a black background with "NE" beneath, it is an ideal gift for any Tigers supporter. Short-sleeve options are $20 in sizes S-XXXL, while long-sleeve options are priced at $26 in sizes S-XXXL.
  • Holiday-Themed Shirt: "Home for the Holidays" - A returning favorite, this long-sleeve green T-shirt brings a festive spirit with its design of Santa driving through a Northeast-inspired landscape. The Booneville water tower and the T. Jack Ramsey Student Services Building are depicted in silhouette, adding a nostalgic touch to the holiday shirt. Available in sizes S-XXXL, this holiday shirt is $32.

Each T-shirt design was crafted by Northeast graphic designer Raleigh Downs, who lent her creative ability to bring each design to life, including the popular holiday themed shirt.
