NEMCC's Iota Zeta chapter recognized as 2024 REACH Chapter

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (04/04/2025) — Mississippi Community College's Iota Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honor society has been recognized as a 2024 REACH Chapter through organization's REACH Rewards program.

Phi Theta Kappa's REACH Rewards program honors chapters that excel in membership development and engagement.

During the 2024-2025 academic year, Northeast's Phi Theta Kappa welcomed more than 430 new members.

With over one-third of the student population involved in the prestigious honor society, the college continues to emphasize academic excellence and student engagement.

PTK's REACH Rewards program highlights the benefits of Phi Theta Kappa membership, including scholarship opportunities, peer and faculty engagement, and higher completion rates.

Phi Theta Kappa's mission is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. The organization fosters leadership, service, and academic excellence while creating an intellectual community for student success.
