NEMCC schedules iPad pick up dates for students

by Michael H. Miller

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (07/24/2024) — Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC), one of the premier community colleges in the country, recently announced the iPad pick-up schedule for students enrolled in the Fall 2024 semester.

This initiative ensures that every incoming student has access to an iPad, enhancing their educational experience with the latest technology.

iPad pick-up will be held the week before the start of the semester, allowing students ample time to get acquainted with their new devices.

Distribution will take place at the Haney Union in the SmartCampus Hub/Student Activities Center.

Students are encouraged to set aside 15-20 minutes for the pick-up process, which includes setting up the iPad, signing into email, and adjusting settings for optimal learning.

To receive an iPad, students must present a current Northeast Student ID and ensure that all fees are paid in the Business Office.

Below is the detailed schedule for iPad handout:

iPad Handout Schedule:

  • Monday, August 12: 8 am - 4 pm
  • Tuesday, August 13: 8 am - 4 pm
