NEMCC Student Success Center Announces 2025-2026 Student Workshop Series

BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (08/13/2025) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Student Success Center has announced the lineup for its 2025-2026 Success Workshop series.

Northeast's success workshops are designed to help students not only embrace college life but grow personally and professionally during their time at the college.

Held every other Wednesday from 12:10 to 12:40 p.m. in the Co-Lab inside Wright Hall on the Booneville campus, each 30-minute session focuses on providing students with tools, skills, and knowledge to help them succeed in and beyond the classroom.

Workshops are free and open to all NEMCC students.

Northeast's Student Success Center seeks to support academic achievement, mental wellness, and life preparation in all that it does.

Workshop dates are as follows

Fall 2025

  • August 27 - Make It Count: Getting the Most Out of Community College
  • September 10 - Networking 101: Building Connections that Matter
  • September 24 - Study Smarter, Not Harder: How to Improve Your Study Skills
  • October 15 - Thriving, Not Just Surviving: Developing Time Management & Organizational Skills
  • October 29 - Unlocking AI: Tips, Tools and Timesavers
  • November 5 - Talk It Out: Ways to Navigate Difficult Conversations
  • November 19 - Master Your Mindset: From Fixed to Fearless

Spring 2026

  • January 21 - Built to Bend Not Break: Tools for Resilience
  • February 4 - Transfer Track: Things to Consider Before Transferring to University
  • February 18 - Overwhelmed to Empowered: Understanding Anxiety & Depression
  • March 4 - Adulting 101: Bills, Budgets and Managing Your Money
  • March 18 - Self-Care That Sticks: Creating a Plan You Will Actually Use
  • April 1 - Think It Through: Decision Making for the Real World
  • April 15 - Career Chronicles: Preparing for a Job Interview
  • April 29 - Own Your Ending: End of the Year Task
