NEMCC to continue virtual learning as winter weather lingers

ALL Northeast Mississippi Community College classes will remain virtual only and all campuses closed Monday, January 22

BOONEVILLE, Miss - (01/20/2024) — Due to lingering hazardous driving conditions on side roads and streets, all Northeast Mississippi Community College classes will remain virtual only and all campuses closed Monday, January 22, 2024.

"We continue to prioritize the safety of our students, faculty and staff and are exercising extreme caution as we plan for next week," Northeast president Dr. Ricky G. Ford said.

Plans are for the college to re-open and resume operating on a regular schedule Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
