About the Jeffrey Powell Mobile Learning Conference
Founded in 2009 by Jeffrey Powell, an Apple Distinguished Educator (Class of 2013), the Mobile Learning Conference started as a small, local workshop on the Booneville campus.
Powell's vision was to connect educators through technology, a mission that has propelled the conference to global prominence.
In 2020, the event transitioned to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic, broadening its reach to educators worldwide.
Today, the conference continues to provide access to recorded sessions through NEMCC's B.R.I.D.G.E.S (Building Relationships in Districts: Growing Every School) program, ensuring continuous professional development for educators long after the event concludes.
