Northeast Theatre Department announces auditions for 2026 Spring production

BOONEVILLE, Miss. -- (11/05/2025) — Northeast Mississippi Community College's Theatre Department will hold open auditions for its 2026 Spring Production, I Should Tell You, a comedy written by Michael Maxwell.

Auditions are set for Monday, November 10, and Tuesday, November 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Hines Hall Auditorium on the Booneville campus.

Under the direction of Christopher Schager of Oxford, the auditions will consist of cold script readings from the production.

All interested students are encouraged to attend, regardless of prior theatre experience.

Students wishing to receive academic credit for their participation may enroll in one of the following courses: Drama Production II (Short Term I) - SPT 1251, Drama Production III (Short Term I) - SPT 2241, or Drama Production IV (Short Term I) - SPT 2251.

In addition to acting roles, opportunities are also available for students who prefer to work behind the scenes in areas such as set construction, stage management, and technical support.
