Northeast to offer two more ACT Prep Workshops in June

BOONEVILLE, Miss. (04/04/2024) — Seats are still available for high school students who want help in bumping their American College Test (ACT) scores before the summer break.

Northeast Mississippi Community College officials have announced that seats remain in the college's Office of Continuing Education ACT Prep Workshop set for Saturday, April 6 from 9 am until 4 pm in Booneville.

With the April 13 National ACT test day less than two weeks away, Northeast is providing the ACT Prep Workshop a week before the national test to help students increase their overall scores.

For high school seniors, the April 13 exam date is very important as it is one of the last ACT exams that can be counted toward scholarships and college entrance applications for the fall.

Participants in the ACT Prep Workshop can expect to go over skills analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses on the test, test taking tips and exam strategies for getting the most out of the multi-subject timed exam.

Cost for the all-day workshop is just $45.

For those who cannot make it to the April 6 ACT Prep workshop, Northeast will offer two more options in June.

Northeast's June 1 ACT Prep Workshop will happen on the first Saturday in June and carries a May 28 registration deadline while those wanting to brush up on their skills in the middle of the summer, the Office of Continuing Education is offering a June 29 workshop as well with a June 24 registration deadline.
