NEMCC Names 338 to Spring 2025 President's List

Three hundred and thirty-eight (338) Northeast Mississippi Community College students achieved a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2025 Spring semester and as a result, have been named to the college's distinguished President's List. Included in the list are representatives from 66 different cities, towns and communities across the United States of America - 321 President's List scholars are from Mississippi, nine hail from Tennessee, five call Alabama home and one scholar is from Florida. Two Presidential scholars call Buenos Aires, Argentina and Johannesburg, South Africa home, respectively. Two hundred and sixty-seven (267) scholars came from the college's five-county service area of Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo and Union counties while 71 were from outside the service area. Overall, 789 individuals were either named to the President's List or the Vice President's List at Northeast for the 2025 Spring semester. Seven hundred and forty-seven (747) are from the Magnolia State, 25 live in Tennessee, and 11 are from Alabama, while California, Florida, Louisiana and Texas each had a representative on the honor rolls. Two scholars call Buenos Aires, Argentina and Johannesburg, South Africa home, respectively. Of the 789 students making either the President's or Vice President's lists at Northeast, 610 reside within the college's five-county service area of Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo and Union counties. Compared to Spring 2024, Northeast saw over 100 more in-district students make the President's or Vice President's list. In total, Northeast's sphere of influence touched 112 different cities, towns and communities across the United States of America, Argentina and South Africa, with scholars hailing from nine different states and/or countries.
